DISTRICT INDUSTRIES CENTRE

            District Industries center is functioning with effect from 07.01.2007 to look after promotion of micro, small, medium enterprises  (MSME), implementation of PMRY, Rural Artisan on cottage and handicraft sector, REGP under OKVIB in the revenue District of Bargarh.

ASSISTANCE   PROVIDED TO THE   ENTERPRENEURS

01.      Identification of viable project based on local resources available & market demand.

02.      Issue of enterprises, memorandum No 1 to the entrepreneur to set up industrial units.

03.      Arrangement entrepreneurship development training programme.

04.      Identification of potentials entrepreneurs tagged up with the identified projects.

05.        Arrangement of financial assistance through Banks / OFSC.

06.       Arrangement of land & shed in the industrial estate.

07.      Recommendation of power supply / permission etc.

08.      N.O.C of population board.

09.      Issue of enterprises memorandum No .11.

10.      Provision of I..P. R benefit to eligible MSME Units.

11.      Identification & revival of industrial sick units.

12.      Marketing support to MSME units through Govt purchase programme & ancillary Registration with mother plant .

13.       Survey of rural artisan & financial assistance to the artisan through cottage and handicraft sector.

14.      Formation of Handicraft Co- operative Society and S.H.G under Cottage and Handicraft Sector.

15.      Arrangement of training programme to the rural artisans.

16.      Exposer visit & marketing facilitate to the Handicraft artisans through exhibitions.

17.       Provision for National award & state award to handicraft Artisans.

18.      Craft Village on cluster progrramme on handicraft s Sector.

19.       Implementation of P.M.R.Y & R.E.G.P Scheme through self-employment programme.

20.      Cluster development programme on Handicraft sector.

INDUSTRIAL STATUS OF BARGARH   DISTRICT 

There are 7 nos of units under large and medium sector in Bargarh District. The details of such Units is given below.

 MICRO INDUSTRIES

The existing status of Micro Units of Bargarh District as on till date is given below .

           As per  all India Census Conducted During the  year out of 1019  Regd  Units  701  Units  are running  . The following Units are some of the explainers micro units running successfully.

SCOPE OF MSME UNITS

Basing an availability of infrastructure, new materials, skill workers, market, the following units will be liable & feasible.

01.  AGRO & FOOD BASED: - Rice Mill, Mini Rice mill, Rice Huller, Cold Storage, Spices, grinding, Ginger Processing Plants, Biscuits, Vermicelli, potato, chips, Oil mill, cattle & Poultry Feed , Seeds processing Units .

02.  ENGINEERING: - Steel Furniture’s, Agriculture  implements , Engineering work shop , Automobile servicing & repairing , Herbal Medicine .

03.   GLASS & CAREMIC: - Stone  crosier, Cement  Hallow Bricks , Quartz Grinding , Lime and soft coke , Cement Product .

04.  MISC & OTHERS: - Paper Cup plate , paper Bag , poly Leaf , Cup and Plate , Electrical cable , Voltage stabilizer , Aurvedic medicine , Phenyl , Sambalpuri garments , Agro Services Center , Fly Ash  Bricks .

PMRY – (PRIME MINISTER ROZGAR YOYANA)

                   For Providing self employment s to the educated unemployed youths, a new scheme Known as PMRY  is implemented  through  D.I.C . This scheme is continuing Since 1993-94 . The year wise target and achievement of the scheme  is as follow.
